			<title>New Rider of the Year format to debut</title>
			<link>http://www.nebraskacycling.org/content/view/50/10/</link>
			<description>
By Bryan Redemske
Nebraska Rider of the Year coordinator

The new Nebraska Cycling Association formula for Rider of the Year points will debut this weekend at Le Tour de Husker (http://cycling.unl.edu/?q=node/5267) in Lincoln.

The three-race weekend features a pair of criteriums -- one each on Saturday and Sunday -- and a team time trial on Sunday morning. Only the criteriums will award ROY points.

Three USCF races will be run on both days, concurrent with the collegiate schedule. They will be grouped as follows: Men&amp;#39;s 1/2/3; Men&amp;#39;s 4 and Women&amp;#39;s 1/2/3; and Men&amp;#39;s 5, Women&amp;#39;s 4 and juniors.

Click here (content/view/49/14/) for full Rider of the Year protocol. For any further questions, send an email here (mailto:bredemske@gmail.com?subject=Nebraska%20ROY) .

			<title>Nebraska Rider of the Year Event Protocol &amp; Points Calculation 2009</title>
			<link>http://www.nebraskacycling.org/content/view/49/10/</link>
			<description>The purpose of the Nebraska Cycling Association&amp;rsquo;s Rider of Year program (ROY) is to recognize and reward consistent performance from area racers. Also, the Nebraska Cycling Association strives to provide Nebraska race promoters with guidelines parameters to maximize field sizes, improve the racer&amp;rsquo;s experience, reward top performers, and generally make race hosting a simple rewarding experience. For 2009, NCA is excited to offer a record TWELVE Rider of the Year awards to our most consistent and loyal performers. The following protocols, while by no means perfect, are directed towards all of these goals forthe 2009 racing season.</description>
