Support the Nebraska Cycling Association!

“Support the Nebraska Cycling Association? Never heard of it.” That is the common response among cyclists in Nebraska when asked about the Nebraska Cycling Association (NCA). What is the NCA then?

The NCA is what USA Cycling refers to as a “Local Association” or “LA”. USA Cycling is the central governing body and information repository for cycle sport in the United States and is affiliated with the worldwide sporting authorities the UCI and the USOC. The NCA serves as the first point of contact for athletes in Nebraska for any of these national or global entities.

The NCA approves race permits, coordinates rider upgrades, gathers and submits results, and disseminates important information from USAC to local riders and teams. The NCA also conducts promoter’s clinics and stands as a resource for anyone wanting to promote a race or cycling event in Nebraska.
